The car which made its debut in 1966 has become one of the most popular in the world. It was the best selling car from 1997 to 2011, when the Toyota Prius surpassed it, but in recent years the car has been pulled out from Europe due to poor sales.

The car will probably not be released in North America until at least 2014 and it will probably never enter the European market since small saloon are not popular in Europe and have been banned in the UK.
